AVID Response to Intervention Tutor (PTT)

Middle School

Response to Intervention (RTI) Tutors address specific skills needed to increase student achievement in math and/or reading. Tutors are under the direction of the Curriculum Coordinator. Tutors must be able to instruct students in small groups and/or individually in middle school math and ELA content; and be familiar with looking at student data to determine progress. Teaching experience is desired. This position is temporary and grant funded and will continue till the end of the school year 15-16. The position is 17 hours per week. *Prior teaching/tutoring experience in middle level grades preferred but not required.
