In 6th grade social studies we are learning about Ancient Civilizations and the development of mankind's story from the beginning of time. We start with the nomadic neanderthals to modern day civilizations. We learn about the world's first empires: Mesopotamia, Persia, Assyria, Babylon, and Egypt just to name a few. We also learn about the first religions, trade, first human interactions and how they have shaped our world.
