Mrs. Allen has been teaching since 2006. She went to teacher school at Lander University in Greenwood, SC and went back for even more at Western Governor's University. She taught students with severe disabilities for 12 years in Oregon in the same school district where she grew up before packing up her art supplies, her books, her kids, and her husband to move to O'Okala. If you look around campus, you will probably spot a Mr. Allen also teaching as well as a spare Chris and Lexi going about their school day. Her teaching motto is "Love, Literacy, and Life Skills" and she hopes to give her tiny tigers their best start possible.
During her free (read "not at school") time, Mrs. Allen reads, makes art, writes books, and goes on adventures with her three kids.
