Classroom Guidelines
Expectations:
- Students are expected to be in their seats and to be preparing for the start of class before the tardy bell.
- Students speak respectfully to adults and to one another.
- Students take responsibility for their actions.
Consequences and Incentives:
- Verbal and written recognition is given regularly for positive behavior.
- Verbal and written warnings are given for misbehavior.
- Timeout, one-on-one conferencing, detention, or call home depending on student’s response to each intervention.
- Referral to administration as needed for persistent and/or extreme misbehavior or misconduct.
